Aston Martin DB9 Updates

Aston Martin DB9 Updates, The Aston Martin DB9 was in production from 2004 until 2016 and in this time over 17,000 DB9 were made. There were a few updates and changes over the years. Some of the changes are listed below followed by links to updates I have made to my DB9.

2006

Alloy heating controls instead of plastic, DIM changed to cool white from yellow, many options become standard such as; Cruise Control, Sat Nav, Bluetooth, Power-fold Mirrors, reversing sensors etc.

2007

New style seats, memory seats, LEDs in door handles, New steering rack (larger turning circle), Volante unrestricted top speed, battery conditioner plug change.

2008

New centre armrest, New audio system, Redesigned sunvisors, steering wheel audio controls modified.

2009

Major upgrades

Modified more powerful engine, upto 470BHP from 450BHP, new bilstein dampers, 5 Bar grille, New Door mirror design, Automatic shift recalibrated, Glass Emotion Control start button, New centre console, LED map lights and ambient lighting, Auto dimming mirror, Improved Sat nav, Front shear panel changed.

2011

ADS (adaptive damping) introduced, modified front bumper, all new TPMS, clear rear lenses now standard, DIM now shows “PURE ASTON MARTIN” on startup, modified sill covers.

2012

New Garmin Sat Nav, New Beam wipers, Exhaust valve fuse changed to 15 from fuse 22.

2013

Major Upgrade

More power, 510BHP instead of 470BHP, More modern styling, Bi- Xenon lights, 20 inch wheels, Carbon Brakes, Auto lights and wipers,

2016

540BHP DB9 GT introduced, vanquish style centre console, reversing camera.
