Aston Martin Magnetic Charging Port, most Aston Martins are not used as daily drivers and modern cars have manu systems running even when the ignition is off so its a good idea to leave rarely used cars on a trickle charger.
The DB9 and Vantages have charging points as standard from the factory, however they are in the boot so that the boot has to be left open or the charging cable is compressing the boot seal possible leading to problems later. However the main issue I had was forgetting the trickle charge was connected and driving off with it connected. I also drive into my garage forward so it would be more useful to have the charging point at the front of the car.
There is a charging point/jump starting point under the bonnet. I connected to this and a good earth to get the least voltage drop possible to improve the charging.
I decided to fit a magnetic charging point hidden behind the front number plate, if I forget to unplug it will just pull off without damaging the car or battery conditioner.
